Job Description
Marathon Staffing is hiring for a Material Handler for a distribution center in the N. Phoenix, AZ area.  Operate sit down forklift, operate basic hand tools, cycle counts, material inspections, labeling, and pulling materials for productions orders.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Good work ethic, self-motivated, good attendance.
• Read and understand assembly and final shipping checklist and instructions
• Must have basic computer skills (i.e. be able to use a computer mouse and keyboard. Know how to select date within software.
• Ability to count parts for bagging and storage in correct warehouse location 
• Pick and pack materials for production orders, prepare orders for staging, loading, and unloading
• Basic competence with MS Office programs; ERP or equivalent business system experience is a plus
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds on a frequent basis
• Demonstrate a commitment to manufacturing quality products and helping to control costs.

Must have the ability to learn, or previous experience in the following:

• Prior forklift experience is a plus
• Working with small hand tools and basic material handling equipment.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently to achieve daily production goals.
• Must be able to work 8-hours on our day shift, Monday – Friday
• Good oral and written communication skills
        Previous manufacturing experience preferred
