Job Description

We are looking for a Forklift Operator in Leominster, MA.

Payrate $18.00

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-6:00pm

Overtime Available!!!

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic Computer knowledge
  • Ability to work with scanners, screens, computers
  • Operators need to have practical experience in operating a forklift, including handling different types of loads, maneuvering in tight spaces, and knowing how to properly stack and unstack materials.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be organized and a problem solver.

·         Able to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and others on the job site to ensure smooth operation and safety.

Duties Include:

·         Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, or other containers. Ensure that items are stacked correctly and safely.

·         Assemble and Inspect products and inform supervisors when there are defects

·         Maintain necessary records

·         Sorting pieces into necessary categories

·         Assist with shipping/receiving

·         Create labels, packaging, and boxes

·          Follow manufacturing safety guidelines and procedures at all times

·         Conduct daily checks and maintenance of the forklift to ensure it is in safe working condition. Report any malfunctions or safety issues.

·         Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures. Wear appropriate protective gear (e.g., helmets, safety shoes, gloves) and ensure that the working area is free from hazards.

·         Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other workers to coordinate tasks and avoid accidents.

·         Maneuver forklifts in tight spaces, ensuring minimal disruption to other operations and equipment.
